Simon Pearce

In 2001, Simon was awarded a Certificate in Sports Massage from the Fellowship of Sports Masseurs and Therapists, and in 2003 he completed the Football Association Diploma in the Treatment and Management of Injuries at Lilleshall National Sports Centre. Since 2003, Simon has continued to study and develop his skills, resulting in his graduation with a BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of East London in 2007. Simon has continued with his commitment to professional development, completing his postgraduate Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine and other various post graduate courses.

Shortly after graduating, Simon setup SDP Physiotherapy, which, under his management, has gone from strength to strength. Professionally, he is registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC), the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), the McKenzie Institute of Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy Practitioners (MIMDTP), the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine (SOM).

From 2000 onwards, Simon has worked with Heybridge Swifts Football Club, Eastern Counties Under 20 Rugby Union Team, a number of Essex Youth Rugby Union sides and Tottenham Hotspur Academy. A number of these players have moved on to represent England. Between 2004 and 2010, Simon worked for the NHS and is currently a senior physiotherapist for Ramsay Health's Oaks Hospital in Colchester.
